Detective McNulty
Don't know about that, i'm getting on a bit now (25) and have a lot of cases to crack.
halvin
...surely it's not 40 miles you walk (on average)! You wouldn't have time to see any bands, just a weekend of hiking!
Detective McNulty
I am going to be in no state for walking i'll tell you right now. Might take my hoverboard
windy_miller
So does this mean that it's not like other festivals where tents are just ridiculously close too each other because there's not enough room?
shortleg
Wow so Glastonbury looks pretty big. Is that an understatement? How does it compare in sheer size compared to say, Leeds?
Pinhead
"Or is there just 10x more people to take up the larger space?" Correct. True also, you probably wont get to see everything, but then that's why we all keep coming back each year.
LusciousLucy
Forgive a little tummy flip of excitement and anticipation seeing those gorgeous pics. Detective...if this is your first, just be prepared for many more visits to get yourself around the site over the next few years. This is my 10th Glasto this year and I STILL havent visited and seen everything! Dont try and do it all in one festival cos you will regret it. Just go with the flow, enjoy the sights you see, stagger about, your feet WILL hurt after 5 days of walking/trudging. Dont expect to get anywhere fast especially after the Saturday headline. And the statistic I have heard is Glasto is the safest 'city' in the United Kingdom that weekend (something to do with the comparison with police statistics across the country eg. stabbings, muggings, murders, death by misadventure and all other nasty stuff that generally goes on in any town or city on an average weekend!)
