Much and such really. They are both too big for a tent and are both big enough to headline the stage. Bloc Party are in a group with Kasabian, Keane, Razorlight etc etc that all play supporting roles for headliners but that spot is the same as headlining a 2nd stage. Same again applies to the Doves with older acts like Stereophonics, Elbow, Paul Weller etc etc.

I have to say Bloc Party are much better indoors but their gigs sell out rapid so it's difficult to see them. At a festival it would be pretty stupid to put them in a tent.

Bloc Party are valid headliners of the Other, the Doves chose not to. Deal with it! :P

I won't be seeing either. I would love to see Doves but they're clashing with Neil Young who I can't miss! Anyway, if I did see them I'd be much happier with them in a tent then outdoors. I thought most people prefer watching bands in tents? Much more intimate me thinks!

Bloc Party are a horrible no-mark band who I'll gladly steer clear of. Saw them a few years ago one afternoon at V whilst waiting for Magic Numbers and it was the longest half hour of my life.

But that's the beauty of Glasto, so much more on offer. Can't wait to see Doves - if by chance it's a touch moist outside I'll be glad of the tent

Don't agree at all.

Saw Bloc Party second from the top on the main stage at Reading last year, and they had a HUGE crowd, and they had the whole place going mental.

I also remember back to 2007 when they played the Pyramid Stage, they had no problems at all, and that was 2 years ago!

I think this whole comment is unjustified.
