sammysundae
i do have a horrible feeling in my stomach that i'm going to watch the springsteen show on telly on tuesday or something and just go, "oh my god, what the hell have i done! now i'll never see him"
dj267
I think you can probably add British Sea Power in the Avalon Tent to this list. They're defos playing it on Saturday, and one can only assume that they'll headline...... And the Jazz World headliner is very rarely worth discounting entirely...... an embarassment of riches. In these sorts of situations, where there are so many different possibilities, I normally use the support act as a motivation. The fact that I don;t like Kasabian may just about nudge me away from the Boss......

gemstarrr
animal collective probably. but i really really want to see kasabian and it's a right trek from pyramid to the park so maybe 2manydj's cos it's nearer and i'll probably miss less. wanted to see pete doherty aswell tho and he's probs on before animal collective at the same time as kasabian. gutted! why can't they spread the good stuff out abit?! put a couple of them on friday night! Messy
Oooh, you're right. Pete is on before Animal Collective. That may well be a decision maker for me.

gemstarrr
i was just thinking...last year the park stage was running quite abit later than the rest of the fest. so do you reckon uit'd be possible to see kasabian on pyramid then run to the park and catch the end of pete? i think i'm just getting my hopes up... Originalshez
Bruce. All the others will be around for a while, but this is possiby the last time round for the E Street Band, and I'm not going to miss it. The others will all be fabulous, but if Bruce gets the set right it will be held in the same regard as Bowie 2000, McCartney 2004 etc as a 'had to be there' moment
abu hamster
Its would be jarvis but as cant split up or cite musical diferences It will be 2 many djs I am going to decide on the night might watch half and half?
Kyelo
Can't stand Bruce so no worries about me being there Probably 2manydjs but Jarvis is in with a shout.
Memory Man
i am quite suprised how many have said 2 many dj's dont get me wrong i love them but up against all this lot? i will go for jarvis because he never would play near me, well thats leeds. Closest would be manchester and he costs a lot to see live. franz and 2 many will be very easy to see at a number of festivals and down your local gig venue! however if the john peel "does a 2008" and is pathetic sound then ill trek to east dance cos its close but by the looks of this thread it will be out of the tent for 2 many djs so who knows! erol on friday will be better than 2 many dj's
Artie Fufkin
Not a fan of Bruce at all, but I'm going to give him precisely 45 minutes to impress me, if i'm not digging it by then I'm getting the fook outta there

Vacant0
Bruce is the only one I haven't seen before - hoping for a good Jazz World headliner really, out of those though, err... 2many djs or/and a bit of Springsteen I suppose. Nickyboy
Like so many people have said, Bruce won't be doing too many more UK shows (he's never done loads anyway over the years). If you have any respect for his music, his longevity, his joie de vivre, or his sheer reputation as a live act with the E Street Band, its really the only gig in town that night. I like BSP, FF and the rest, but there's always another show to see them. I've a feeling its going to be one of those 'I was there' moments like Radiohead in 97. Kyelo
Without a doubt, looks like not many will be there, so should get a good spot near the front

joshwarrr
If no better band is playing then I might. If not i'll probably flitter between to watch a bit of each set.
dj267
To be fair, I would say that the type of people who write on a Glastonbury forum are probably the type of people who are more likely to have diverse interests, and explore alternative areas of the festival. Therefore, I think Bruce will get a bigger audience share than these statistics suggest.
freehugs!
im normally quite decisive but none of them smack me with desire. propably 2manydjs but may well just float with my friends for once or just go dance village
