My mates had to do the same thing year before last and it was fine except once they returned they had to park a long way away from their original spot.

You could use the monorail. I,m sure there is a stop at Brighton.......you may have to get off at Hove but you can get a Zepplin the rest of the way.

Leaving is not a prob, yes the car will be further from the site BUT it usually helps because you end up being parked much nearer the exit and so apart from the long walk lugging the gear back to the car, you should get out quicker. We did it in 04 when we left to go back up to Brixton to go see Orbital. Got out super quick on the Monday compared to deep in the western car parks which is where we were originally parked.

Just be sure you dont get the miserable bugger that parked us last year. We were getting near the edge of the field and when he guided the next row of cars in he didnt leave enough room for us to get out. When I pointed out the problem, saying I needed to leave very early on Monday morning he said "sorry love this is Glastonbury".

We did actually go back later on in the festival and a 65 point turn under no pressure and with no mud did get us out so we could move the car to a better spot and I was able to leave v early on Monday.
