Odd question but can I speak to someone who knows about glitter? :)

Last year me and my friend were at the cider bus and got 'glittered' by a really nice girl who decided to glitter us. Since then we have decided that we want glitter. Can anyone reccomend somewhere to buy it and what type is best?

I remember buying glitter when I was about 12 or 13, popping into Claire's or the market and getting loads for about £3. I had a look in the market last week and it is £1.99 for a teeny tiny pot.

Anyone got any ideas?

ooo i dont know. Im making my own special fairy wings and bought loads of glitter from hobby craft, but it werent exactly cheap.

Maybe try poundland? usually places like that sell right bargins for shirt buttons. Also do you have a 'The Works' near you? thats another place you get all pretty things for very cheap.

So Claire's do still do glitter then? I checked in our local one last week and they didn't have any. It is quite a small store though!

I am going to pop to Poundland tomorrow. And they have just opened a 99p store so will try there to.

Glitter...one of my reasons for being!

The best glitter I ever bought was from a theatrical make up shop. It was the iridescent sort and so fine it all stayed on the face and didnt haemorrage everywhere which is what the cheaper sorts can do.

If you cant get to a costume shop then the Barry M stuff should come close. Remember...the finest grade is the best.

The Fairy Love stall does a very good range of glitter if you can afford to wait until the festival though.

sorry to shock though...spray can glitter has been available probably since the early 80's if not earlier!
