Laura_Babs
How did I happen to moderate such a forum .... now let me see..... Perhaps it's because I love Glasto so much that I created the first comprehensive website about Glastonbury Festival. Perhaps it's because that as a result of that, that website became Glastonbury's official website (which still uses an awful lot of the text I wrote). Perhaps it's because I ran Glastonbury's official website for two years. Perhaps it's because I love festivals so much I created the worlds most popular festivals website (by a very long way). Just because I happen to think that the line-ups on the Other and JP stages are predictable and unexciting doesn't make me miserable, it makes me not the hugest fan of all-much-the-same indie landfill, that's all. robith
Still holding out for B.R.M.C, Sigur Ros, LCD Soundsystem amongst others. Not too much to ask is it.
muddyslingbax
Fair do's but in that case, what would be a surprise? I think it is limited somewhat by the fact that it's the second biggest stage but Bjork and the Stooges certainly aren't run of the mill indie. Wm.!
Question: will the line-up announcement include a timetable? If No, does anyone know when this is normally announced?
Homer
There’s no timetable but the bands are listed in order so you can take an educated guess as to what clashes with what (plus the nice people on here will create a clashfinder based on this info and previous years’ timetables). This is never 100% accurate though as one or two bands are liable to be squeezed in here and there. You will only see the final lineup when you arrive and get your programme (and sometimes that varies slightly from the schedule you hang around your neck!).
