okay i've been bad, i bought 4 cases from asda a couple of weeks ago (2 for £14) ready for the big weekend but all except 1 case have gone *hiccups*

the deal at asda is finishing tomorrow, and isn't available online,

anyone have any ideas where there are any more deals like 2 for £14/3 for £20?

tesco are doing 2 crates for 16 and 3 for 20 quid from 3rd june,various beers and ciders,some will be bottles though so no good for us

Tetley's Smooth Flow Bitter (12x440ml) only £6 in morrisons

Not a huge cider fan myself either. But having suffered years of Coors, Budweiser and Miller beers being the only ones available at major BBQs, sporting events etc. in the states I can quite truthfully say that they are all piss.

If you like lagers, try Pilsner Urquell or Budwar from the Czech Republic. But better still, try the real ales at the Red Flag bar!

For anyone that likes a drop of Pimms at Glasto I can recommend the Sainsburys equivalent 'Pitchers', which is half price at the moment so super cheap compared to proper Pimms yet tastes remarkably similar.

It's currently £14 for a litre of Pimms vs £6 for 70cl of Pitchers..

Took my mum out to Tesco to get some shopping (was going to go to Morrisons but suggested Tesco instead ), managed to slip a bottle of Southern Confort into the trolley.

They've got crates of 18 Tennents for a tenner in there, going to go back out tomorrow and pick up 3 of them. And probably another bottle of Southern.

Not suitable for festivals (glass bottles) but Sainsburys currently has 4 bottles of Cusquena for £3... not the cheapest deal ever, but a f**king lovely beer, would definitely recommend trying it out!

also fosters,dry blackthorn and strongbow ,not that the cider can compare to mighty brothers,but it is a helluva lot cheaper

Skint until Friday so I'll go and get the crates then, hopefully Tennents will be available north of the border in the Tesco deal. Bit rubbish if it's 15 cans in a crate though, wasn't so long ago it was 20.

No need to worry it is 18 cans in my store so should be accross scotland! keep an eye on the weather though if its anything like last week you might luck out if you go late evening.

My mate is knocking out litre bottles of JD for £15, not much use to everyone else but it has certainly made my festival a little cheaper. My sister did say however that Tescos were selling them for £20 which is pretty good for litre bottles.
