Lets hope it starts Glastonbury week eh :(

Forget the wellies - it's apparently going to be a scorcher !

Buy your suncream/block etc now before the prices go up ! :)

This news is ace. That article is a bit strange though, will people really paint their houses white just in case it gets hot?! :)

That word makes me laugh these days...but this does happen when you've been languishing in temperatures that have not been below 18'c and averaging around 26'c for the past 9 months! :)

The two for one suncream deals will happen 2 weeks before Glasto. It has been this way for the past 7 years at least at Boots, Tosco's and all other stupidmarkets.

Listened to a podcast last night and the US & Aus callers all seemed to think England was constantly raining.

Dunno what made me remember this, but Jean Michel Jarre did a gig at London Docklands and it was LASHING DOWN. Check out Hank Marvin exclaiming at the beginning "this is not wet, this is England" and then the disgust on Jarres face as if to say 'I wish I was doing this gig in sunnier climates'.

Anyway, excited about this new beeb report although there was an article about 4 or 5 weeks ago that said the same thing... hopefully this current lousy weather means the good stuff is waiting for us towards the end of June!

(EDIT)

Had forgot just how cool this clip is... check out the choir in life-jackets... check out Jarres complete lack of rhythm, check out Nigel Mansell on drums... Classic! :)

would be really nice. i went away over easter and got horribly sunburnt (no complaints tho) so i'm all ready to dance around in just a pair of shorts all weekend like a crazed loon.

here's hoping. i have been pretty lucky for weather at festivals in the past. it pissed it down last year at latitude during the last headliner and for the last night. really killed the atmosphere. and whe i arrived at my first reading i got absolutely soaked as soon as i got there. i thought "oh here we go", but in the end the weather was awesome all weekend, within a day and a half the sloppy mud was scorched ground.

thats how i see glasto this year.
