Has anybody heard who else is supporting AC/DC @ Wembley on 26th June? After having one of the best line-ups at Milton Keynes all those years ago; The Answer alone is not the answer for a sell out gig at Wembley?

I've seen both these bands live before.

The Answer supported Whitesnake in 2007 and the venue I saw them in (Carling Academy). It was very busy and full by the time they came on -think they had a lot of good hype about them at the time, Classic Rock magazine had them as new band of the year etc. They were very good too.

I have seen this version of Thin Lizzy 3 times over the last few years (twice in Glasgow, once in Killarney). They are very good at letting people re-visit the classic Thin Lizzy catalogue. Obviously they are missing their most vital element (Mr Lynnott himself), but they are still very entertaining.

This should be a great day!!

Just had to sign up to the forum to post!

Received mine yesterday in London. Had to sign for them though so watch out you might get the card and have to pick them up from the depot.

OH MAN I CANT WAIT!

with all the acts in the country because of glasto and whatnot thats a little bit disappointing. i know its short notice but still - its supporting ac/dc for christs sake. most bands should have jumped at it!

Someone on last.fm is saying that The Subways are now playing as well. Apparently that info came direct from Wembley.

Well that'd be a bit better. Saw The Subways at Rock Am Ring a couple of weeks ago - they know how to get the crowd into it.

Bit gutted about Thin Lizzy have had to pull out. Tommy Alderidge injured in a car crash apparently. Hopefully still see them with Metallica.

Got two days holiday for gig at Hampden, cannae wait. Big mid-week blow-out!
