Parking in Southampton

Hi everyone,

I'm totally new to this and the Isle of Wight Festival will be my first. I'm hoping to travel up by car from Cornwall and was wondering if there was anywhere anyone knows of where i could park my car in Southampton and walk onto the ferry. Even if its a long term car park where i could pay for 4 days, will still prob be cheaper than driving onto the ferry.

Any help would be really appreciated.

not too sure, wouldnt you just be cheaper getting the train?

The other option might be to park at Central station and get the bus to the terminal (Used to be a free/very cheap bus). There are plenty of car parks around but not sure how many will accomodate long stays as they're mainly for shoppers. Best bet is to give RF a ring.

As for it being cheaper than the ferry- it's more a case of easier as i'd imagine getting on and off the ferry without having pre booked will be pretty tricky
