As it says above.....does anyone know if we are only allowed to bring alcohol in the first time we enter the campsite? Crappy rule last year i thought. Im hoping its not the same this year. Ayone heard anything?

Sucks...thats the good thing about TITP. U can go back and get the rest of your cargo when you run out. Its not about having to drag 4 crates of cider in on the one go!

Least you have the chance to take your booze in first, have a mate look after all of it whilst the rest of you go back for camping supplies....trying to lug it all from the bus drop off to the camp site is murder! although I've learned my lesson..less beer more spirits! 2 bottles of Jack D and only 30 cans of carling

Last year I got back to my car twice to get 2 loads of drink! No problem wat so ever. I dont think they will be so strict with it.

i heard a girl last year ask to go back to her car for her insulin... then laugh when she got round there.. pretty sick but it worked for her.... kinda obvious tho when she came back with a crate of cider... dunno what happened after that... you could just run...

on the friday last year i got into the campsite got my wristband and set up camp! Couple hours later walked out no problem, went to the car park and helped my mates carry in some of their booze! No questions asked!

I think last year there was set times u could get to ur car to get stuff thru out the weekend, but me and my mates had no problem at all, jus asked if we culd go to the car n they were like yeh go ahead, n we came back with several crates and nothing was sed. twice.

Yes, excluding any glass at all. Please remember that all packages, cooler boxes and equipment will be fully searched by security personnel upon entrance. A reasonable amount of alcohol may be brought into the campsite...don't bring your own off-license!

We've bought a trolley that folds up with extra large wheels

Fingers crossed it doesn't try to fold while we're using it.

They were very inconsistant last year. Folk who were camping around us needed to go back for their booze. One lot got in with theirs no problem but 3 lassies were refused entry and sat in the car park drinking as much as they could.

Wullie and I had 3 crates of Kopperberg with us and they were not going to let us take them all in telling us that the rule was one case per person. (2 of the cases of booze were for Stevie) We had to demand to speak to a supervisor before they let us bring them in.

I dragged 5 X 18 crates on my trolley last year, they were for me and my mate but he buggered off to set up the tents so I was all alone. Still let me through!
