Got my UFC Glasgow ticket today, more tickets came on sale earlier this week. My seat is right next to the cage, proper excited as never been to a show before.

Bec Rawlings pulled out of the Jojo fight is shit news though, a replacement has been added.

Not watched it but heard Cyborg fight lasted one minute last night, said she is going to try hard to make 135. IF It happens then Rousey/Cyborg for UFC 200 please.

I know, I'm a premium member in the UFC fight club, so could have got entry to allsorts (Fan Q&A etc) but I simply cannot get away from work until about 9.30am Saturday. We are staying at the Crown Plaza next door, which I think is the fighters hotel.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to predict the full card but top 2 bouts I'll have a shot at.

I'm saying Lawler for one.

I'm thinking Mendes for the other.From what I've seen of the build up he looks very relaxed and at ease while I thought Aldo looked ready to cry.

If McGregor wins then I see it as a finish rather than points.

Absolutely fucking brilliant card. My initial reaction to the ko was that it was way too early, but no one else seemed to be too bothered, least of all mendes. Props to Conor, he came off really well at the post fight presser. Hope he shows up at Glasgow with the gold next week. McDonald was proper fucked up. War Lawler!

I did call Mendes McGregor wrong though.I thought McGregor looked abit shell shocked.

I only got 1 out of 5 fights right on the main card and Pendred lost in a horrible fight haha.

 

I don't think I'm going to make a prediction for Aldo/McGregor, I have no idea who is going to win now.If the target date is January 2nd then it's the perfect time to get CM Punk to debut and break  some more records.

I got 5 out of the 7 predictions right, probably my best showing ever. was really surprised at Gunnie beating Thatch, Thatch will be gutted. Matt Brown finally getting his walkout song allowed by Dana was a good touch, Jamie Jasta from hatebreed wrote and recorded it especially for Brown I believe.

 

didnt really think the live walkout singers worked that well, I laughed when Conor said "the moment I turned and looked up and she pointed at me", me and the missus looked at each other and said "no she didnt"

 

I'm still taking in how wild rory and robbies fight was, robbie was done at the end of R3, I thought it was gonna be all over.

 

I also think the best thing the UFC could do now, is show the full card, for free, on free to air TV in the USA within a couple of weeks. That was one of the best adverts for UFC they could have.

nope, I'm hoping Lesnar v Mir 3*, GSP v Anderson*, Nick Diaz v Bisping*, Ronda V Cyborg (catchweight) and Aldo v McGregor rematch for conors second shot at getting the actual belt, because Jose is gonna fuck him up in the first fight. And CM Punks second fight (after they give him a gimme in his first)

Can't see Lesnar retirning, he closed the door on his mma career when he took the latest wwe deal.

I'm looking forward to seeing who Condits next fight will be against, Brown or Lawler I'm hoping.

Lesnars WWE contract brings him up to 2018, by which time he'll nearly be 41. Can't see a return then.

Shit can get done, if Dana stumps up enough cash, anything is possible.

 

McGregor V Faber is a massive call for the next TUF. TUF has been shit since the Uriah Hall / Kelvin Gastellum season IMHO. I'd like to see an all male cast as well, I dont mind WMMA, but the standard really isnt anywhere near as good, and the bitching in the TUF house during the 2 seasons so far with the girls has been a million times more irritating than any of the dudebro shit. The last season was bollocks as well IMHO.
