nope, I'm hoping Lesnar v Mir 3*, GSP v Anderson*, Nick Diaz v Bisping*, Ronda V Cyborg (catchweight) and Aldo v McGregor rematch for conors second shot at getting the actual belt, because Jose is gonna fuck him up in the first fight. And CM Punks second fight (after they give him a gimme in his first)

*we can dream.

Yeah we could dream but IF Lesnar was to come back he would probs want co-headline at least, same as Anderson and Ronda would want...and GSP and McGregor would probs only want headline fights. It would be such a stacked card if it happened, but I think its too good. Ronda and Conor could be the top 2, maybe could see Punk and Bisping lower down, even Bisping vs Anderson. I could maybe see the UFC trying to get 2 big title fights and a stacked card for UFC 200.

Just a thought, Dana said that they will let Conor defend the title in Croke Park, which would probably only be available to happen through the summer here as it should be a little warmer and a little less likely to rain. If Conor fights and beats Aldo in January, he would probably want his first defence or rematch in Croke Park. That would probably mean Conor wouldnt be on the UFC 200 card, as he would be on another card that summer. Dont know if there could be a way round it, or if the UFC would wait until 2017 for it to happen but I think the sooner the better to get the Ireland fight to happen.

Lesnars WWE contract brings him up to 2018, by which time he'll nearly be 41. Can't see a return then.

My thoughts exactly, could maybe see Lesnar being at the UFC 200 event but not fighting again.

Shit can get done, if Dana stumps up enough cash, anything is possible.

McGregor V Faber is a massive call for the next TUF. TUF has been shit since the Uriah Hall / Kelvin Gastellum season IMHO. I'd like to see an all male cast as well, I dont mind WMMA, but the standard really isnt anywhere near as good, and the bitching in the TUF house during the 2 seasons so far with the girls has been a million times more irritating than any of the dudebro shit. The last season was bollocks as well IMHO.

McGregor Aldo would have been SO much bigger, a team of Brazilians and a team of Europeans head to head. The language barrier might have got in the way, but if that series couldnt save TUF nothing could IMO. Faber being there will still be good though, thats could have been some of what he and McGregor were saying in the embedded episode.

Can't see Lesnar retirning, he closed the door on his mma career when he took the latest wwe deal.

I'm looking forward to seeing who Condits next fight will be against, Brown or Lawler I'm hoping.

Im guessing Lawler and Rory will have quite a bit of time out, could face each other again straight away when they get back or have Condit Rory and Lawler Hendricks again (he says he is next in line...dont think he has it to win though)

TUF finale was OK, the yves lavigne stoppage in the first fight was a bit early IMHO. nice to see magana get dominated by the karate hottie, I really like Waterson ;0)  (magana actually pissed herself when waterson slammed her - theres youtube videos of it!)

Mir V Duffee tomorrow night is interesting.

Seems like Mr Aldo has had a few things to say on Brazilian radio

I am not going to only beat McGregor up: I am going to make an example out of him. I am going to beat up this son of a bitch so bad that he won't be able to open his mouth to say his shit for over a month. I am going to break the jaw of this pussy son of a bitch in three parts. The queer fans of that pussy and the UFC will regret putting that fucktard with me in the octagon because I am going to put an end to his rise. I've never felt this powerful in my life. Before breaking my rib I was knocking out light-heavyweights with body shots. I can't spar yet, but I am still punching and kicking with the same power. I won't even bother dodging McGregor's little punches and his ballerina kicks: I am going to walk straight towards him and take away his manhood. Take his pride. Humiliate him. Swell up those balls-sucking lips of his. Good luck knocking me out: Cigano couldn't do it in full-contact boxing. But the most delightful thing of all will be when I see the look on the faces of his racist Irish fans. Look at their faces after I have turned their national hero into a faggot.

Wow.................Its starting very early! If an accurate translation its some pretty trashy shit

Aldo has a bit more about him than to talk that level of trash.

What the entire MMA world appears to have forgotten ( apart from people who actually look beyond the UFC marketing machine) is that Jose Aldo is a complete and utter killer, and thoroughly deserving of him status as a champion. Just because he isn't media friendly, and a PPV behemoth - doesn't mean he isn't an absolute beast. Mendez might be #1 contender as of last Friday, but he has only ever been beaten by one man, twice. Aldo is absolutely no joke, and anyone who thinks he is (including mcgregor) is due a rude awakening.

Yeah Aldo is a killer, but I think, along with quite a few other people, than McGregor has at least an equal chance of beating Aldo. Conor will talk a lot of trash, even more than last time, but he can back it up and I think he will fully back it up. Frankie Edgar and Mendes are both deserving challengers for the winner of Aldo and Conor, but it wont be a walk over for either of them.

Aldo is the greatest FW fighter of all time, an absolute killer but McGregor may still beat him, I refused to make a prediction the other day but if I have to pick I'd go with Aldo but anything can happen in this sport and McGregor is legit. I would love to see him against Frankie Edgar,

Ticket arrived for Glasgow today, says doors. 2pm but when will the card kick off? Any idea t8y?

Dunno mate, when we went to o2 in london 2014, doors were 4.30, and the fights started around 6. Manchester the year before, we got in there around 6 but had missed a fight. I reckon we just need to keep an eye on twitter.

Fedor making a comeback.

http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/news/453160/Report-Fedor-to-return-to-MMA/

not sure how I feel about it. don't want his legacy sullied.

Fedror Lesnar for UFC 200 ;) haha

I dont think I would want to see Fedor fight world class opposition, at least straight away if he was going to have multiple fights. He will probably have a lot of ring rust, but if Dana and Lorenzo want Fedor for the UFC they might just be able to get him. Maybe start him off light with an upper-mid carder like Bigfoot or Overeem, then if he dominates throw him in with a main eventer like Cain or Dos Santos, and finally if Werdum still has the belt, give Fedor a shot. Fast track Fedor like they did Conor and Lesnar, apart from Fedor deserves the fast track from prior skills and fights

The smart money will be on Fedor going to Bellator IMHO. He has links with Scott Coker IIRC.

I'm sure Fedor was at a Bellator fan expo not long ago. Fedor vs KImbo Slice!!

I think the main question that needs to be answered is why is Fedor coming back? If its for money, I would guess the UFC could outbid Bellator. If its to have one last run of being the best in the world, the UFC has the best and most credible fighters in the world. But if its to end his career with a few more wins and make a bit of money at the same time then maybe Bellator will be best for him. I would like to see him be in the UFC though, he deserves to be on the biggest stage.

Load of Glaswegians pissed up after watching UFC all day still in time for a night out on the swally? Fun night in Glasgow.

Yeah and after a few drinks they might want to try the skills they have just seen at the event...drunk Glaswegians trying a spinning roundhouse, how entertaining :P

If its for the money, UFC wont want their (credible) big names potentially beaten by an out of retirement fighter, can you imagine how it would look if he destroyed Werdum, or Cain, or Hunt?

Bellator is the perfect place for him if its just a one off, big name fight. Bellator don't seem to consider the future much when making decisions on who to promote. Look at the bullshit promises they allegedly made to Rampage.

can we spoilerise any talk of Mir v Duffee please, just because many wont see it until at least tonight......

If the UFC had some of their bigger names fight Fedor, they could easily put the hype train behind him and say how he was unbeaten in so many years, and could hype up that Werdum was the person to end that run. If Fedor was in Bellator I cant see any high ranking UFC official even mentioning him being there. They offered him a huge payday to fight lesnar a few years ago, so they would risk their biggest draw at the time against an out-of-retirement fighter so theres no reason why they wouldnt consider it now IMO.

Bellator could put him in with Kimbo for a one off, but thats it really. They dont have a Cro Cop or a Werdum to have a good hyped fight with one of the GOAT.

I wont be watching the card but no problem

Frank Mir/Duffee

Frank Mir does it again, that was crazy while it lasted.

Tony Ferguson looked class last night, How the hell was Thomson still going? Tough bastard

Holly Holm isn't living up to the hype yet, dominated the fight but kept missing too much in the first couple of rounds.

First fight on main card was brilliant too, Welterweight fights sure are delivering right now
