anyone watching TUF? I'm giving it another chance. Its been decent so far. I was kinda watching it to pick holes in Conor, but he's been quite good to be fair. I do - however, know that faber is a far more experienced coach and fighter, so it aint gonna be a cakewalk for CMcG.

Yeah im 3/4 the way through the second episode, just got the fight to watch. I think Team Europe looks stronger just from the prelim fights to get in to the house. Yeah Faber is a lot more experienced but he is also more hands on with his team and more of a friend to his team, Conor made it clear that he is a coach and no one is best friends with each other, unless its him and his normal team mate.

 

Just seen the PVZ news, hope she walks over Jojo. UFC are probably lining up one more fight for her then title shot if she wins both these next two. I dont see PVZ beating Joanna though :/

Not watched Tuf ep 2 yet but thought ep1 had some quality fights.

I also think PVZ will beat Jojo but I don't think she will get a title shot soon, she would at least need to get past Gadelha first, who is the rightful #1 contender and the biggest threat to the champion, remember their first fight was a split decision.

Never really connected with Jojo, maybe only seen one of her fights I cant remember, but the sooner PVZ gets the title shot, the sooner she will be pushed back down and be forced to get more skilled. Walk over maybe was a bad choice of words by me, but I hope PVZ wins without too much controversy so she gets a no.1 contender fight or title shot. As much as I was Paige to be champion, at the moment she

wont so once the UFC stop pushing the Paige hype train she will be able to get fully focused on skills and less on promotion. Either PVZ fights Gadelha for a number 1 contenders fight, or Joanna fights Gadelha and PVZ gets the winner. PVZ wont be next in line, or should I say shouldnt be next in line.

JoJo aint that good tbh. she didnt do well in TUF, I know she wasnt in a good place when Moroz beat her, but she hasnt performed well against the top girls.

Bellator/Glory Dynamite tonight. Can't wait for the 4 man tournament.

Fedor announced his return at Dynamite, and its not quite with Bellator or the UFC, its a New Years Eve event in Japan against an un-named opponent. Sounds like a little bit of a let down, but I've read it could be a 2 fight deal. That could be used to loosen Fedor off and have Fedors UFC debut could be at UFC 200 in July.

 

Dynamite sounded like an okay event, haven't watched it though, just got back to Uni

I enjoyed it but was annoyed that King Mo got injured.  Phil Davis looked impressive and he will win the belt when he faces McGeary. Fedor won't be in the ufc now, it' a new mma promotion by the guy who done Pride so I can see them riding out the rest of his career there. If he was coming to ufc now was the time.

Maybe so, but if Fedor lost on his first fight back he would be trashed by fans and media. A few warm up fights against UFC or Bellator rejects might show Fedors level and he could end his career with the UFC. Maybe just being hopeful, but if he was negotiating with the UFC and didnt sign, there must be something that put him off that he could get in the new promotion. Doubt it will be money or publicity, and looks like Coker isnt involved so he isnt the deciding factor, so I wonder what else it is. 2 fights with the new promotion then a run in the UFC is what im going for

I watched the McGeary fight, and enjoyed it for what it was. Folks may have missed it, but UFC announced an event at the O2 in London on Feb 27th. Definitely going to that one.

Its a fight night, I havent had any spam from the Sun or anyone. Dont know how much tickets will be, tickets go on sale December 4th, event is 27th Feb as T8yman mentioned before, so it gives a short while to get tickets. Bisping will probably be on the card if he can manage it, hope Whittaker isnt too much of a challenge for him and he can get a quick turnaround. Maybe someone like Mousassi or Machida?

Bisping would seem to be the smart guess, as long as he comes out of the Whitaker fight relatively unscathed - and with a win. Yes Mousse would be a name, as would Machida, I would also put Manhoef into the hat. We need some fresh talent. I reckon Manuwa might be able to pull off a headline - he will deffo be on the card if his injury is fixed. Pearson will likely be present, as might Leon Edwards.

 

To be fair, I wasn't mega stoked about the card in Glasgow, but it turned out to be a cracker of a night.

 

Big names might shift tickets, but great fights make the event awesome.

Watching the above video spoils it though I was always aware they played Baba O Riley, you hear it everytime Dana and Joe are selling you the PPV before the Fox prelims go off the air but I hadn't seen the montage so was cool to see.
