Just did a metcheck for Rockness, although there is an event page, its for the wrong dates so I just looked up Inverness on the 14 day forecast.

Not looking too good, I think this good weather came too early.

Friday and Saturday look like having a good bit of rain and Sunday still doesn't look too promising.

I reckon it should be quite accurate 2 weeks before. At least in the right ballpark.

I certainly expect a departure from the all day sunshine of the last few years.

The pessimist in me says we're due a poor weekend weatherwise after the scorchers of the last 2 years!!! The optimist in me just shot the pessimist tho!!

I don't see the point in checking the weather till a couple of days before. It's quite innacurate this far away.

Last week I did a sponsored walk at work, on the Thursday we checked various sites which predicted heavy rain most of the day, but when friday came there wasn't a cloud in the sky and most ppl went home with sunburn. Can't trust weather predictions and definately not 11 days away!

in hotel in inverness on the sat night last year it didnt look to good for the sunday,the day before,turned out a cracker.thank f+ck they get it wrong sometimes

the weather's been the great the past 2 years so i think it'll be roasting again this year.

However, I am expected at the very least 4 inches of snow.

I can't see my 2 man disposable tent lasting the weekend if it rains heavily for any great length of time

metcheck is usually spot on for 3-4 days ahead but anymore than that isn't too reliable - too many variables to allow for accurate predicting....

having said that I've been checking religiously for a few days now

i'm sure it was pretty heavy rain on the friday night - my clothes were pretty wet when i woke up anyway

It was bloody pishing down last year on the Friday, proper monsoon for a good while. But by saturday morning the ground wasnt particularly wet/muddy at all!

I cannae remember any rain on the Friday then again I cannae remember anything.

i remember that. i was lying on the ground outside the bollywood tent and i thought it was brilliant that it was raining.
