saybut
I got two of these last week and took them camping this weekend, http://www.outdoormegastore.co.uk/acatalog...Tent_Light.html they were fantastic for finding the toilets etc middle of the night, they light up a nice area really bright around you but don't shine too far, easy too hold too definately recomend them.. HurrahBrother
Go electric If you fall over with gas or other fuel lantern in your hands, there is going to be trouble of the flamable kind! Maybe a head torch (torch mounted to the side or front of an elastic headband!), hands free, can see where you are looking, seveal bright ones out there. LusciousLucy
The Cybalite single led headtorch from Maplins is very good. We picked up similar Energizer single LED headtorches at Millets the other day for only a fiver. Very good for the essentials...seeing in the dark, seeing (if you must) what you are up to in the longdrops, building smokable items while sitting down... And just purchased an LED converter bulb for my mini Maglite! No need for crap bulbs anymore! Yay!
