Finally found it, this is the one i bought last year after my cheapo one ripped in 07. It is very big (so am I, although I am not as big as Joshwarrr!), it is fairly heavy duty but not too heavy (about 1lb in old money) and will fold up pretty small.

Look about, they are between £15 and £20 but the tent fabric (ripstop nylon) ponchos are pretty good. I get over the cold/clammy feeling by wearing a woolen overshirt under the poncho (old levis docker shirt, about £15 from the net including delivery)

Alternative?

These?

As a pure waterproof it does the job. No clold/clammy feeling either. However to be honest, the fleece inner just attracts mud and then refuses to let it go. so at glastonbury it is of limited use/appeal (as a fleece for lounging on during a sunny day it is however very good).

I found the trousers fine for cold and wet times, a bit sweaty during hot and sunny times. Wear shorts underneath.

They do however make very good pillow stuffings if and when they are not needed.

Plastic 'pack-a-macs' of all types I just found I got soaked (sweat).

Joe bananas has waxed cotton farmers style jackets dirt cheap (2nd hand) and i'm still using mine from beautiful days 2007. Not bad for £5.

Cool, thanks for the links guys.

Puppetmode is the hat in your profile photo the Walaroo one? If so, it looks loads better there, than in the Decathlon photo!

Unfortunately I don't have a Decathlon nearby (Grrr), if I did, I would've owned Quechuas years ago. I'm still hoping that they start up their delivery service, they did say it was something they were considering.
