late arrival early departure

Have just found out I have won tickets to Glasto but at this late stage there is no way we can go before Friday am and would have to leave Sun night - work is such a drag but there is definitely no way round this. I have never been to Glasto before.

Where would be best aiming to camp if we are not arriving until Friday and would want to get out on the Sunday

I know we are missing 2 really cool days but it is that or not bother at all

GO GO GO!!! Absolutely go. Get there as early as you can on Friday morning, or leave thursday night if you could. Leave at midnight on Sunday if you're driving down and just be groggy in work monday morning. I left at 12am monday morning last year and was knackered the next day, but it was well worth it.

You'll always find somewhere to camp, have a look on other threads and you'll get an idea of the quietest areas.

You've been serendipitous enough to win tickets, it would be an absolute crime not to use them!!! You will love it and even if you were only there for 1 day it would still be amazing.

are you driving?

i'd suggest parking in the west car park, entering through pedestrian gate D and pitching your tent near there somewhere in Paines Ground or Dairy Ground.

join one of the efestival camps - search for Red Triangle and then ask your efest friends to try and make sure there is a spot with them for you to camp on...
