When to leave on Monday?

I need to get a train to London on Monday, and I want to know how long it might take for me to get back to Castle Cary on Monday. Is it a 3-hour trip getting back? 4-hour? 1-hour? What kinds of lines can I expect for the bus?

I'm a first-timer from the States, and I think dealing with getting from the airport to the festival and then getting back to London is causing me more stress than anything else!
