What bag to take?

Hey all

Been reading this site for weeks getting myself excited for Rockness so thought I would join!

First time at Rockness, infact first time at any sort of festival so just had a question about bags.

Basically... what kind of bag do people generally take, or find easiest to carry etc? Being a girl, I want to bring all the crap of the day with me, but realise I can't, but still want to bring quite a few things.

Is this the sort of bag people usually take...

aye thats the sorta bag i take, cept mine is some dodgey cheap french supermarket thing i picked up years ago, but its served me well!! try squeeze all your booze into your bag too, carry 30 odd cans of beer and a tent with your hands isny fun at all!

thats sooo not a silly Q ....ok so i have been every year and have found that if you got a man they make perfect handbags but they do have their drawbacks they spend ur cash and say i forgot or loose ur most fav lippy (mine did) good job had back up's in the car..

but if your single dont take anythin to big cos when ur bouncin about it does get in the way ALOT i stupidly had my bag behind me and had cash nicked whilst was at cagedbaby they didnt get it all but *middle finger to the thief*

dont take alot... take in bag

lippy small mirror(wont find one in venue) unless u VIP which i am please dont forget some tissues most essential(bog roll goes fast once venue opens)(unless u think u can shake like a dude lol) (BTW I WISH THEY WOULD SORT OUT THE BLOKES PIS*IN IN FULL VIEW ITS MINGIN LIKE ) if taking cash make sure u split it up ie, pokets bra bag(this year i have designed a t-shirt for my m8 i have made him pokets inside his t-shirt for keepin his cash safe) polo's or chewingum, do ur makeup in advance try it out see how long it lasts then u will kno wot to take and wot to leave plus a condom (u never kno)

another gr8 tip we do it every year if with a crowd of m8s make a LOST ME M8'S PLAN ours was a certain flag if we got split up make ur way bk to im lost flag cos lets face it not all mobile phones get a reception at dores and pays to have a back up plan...

So they girls doing it are fine then? So many other things that are annoying at festivals.

As for me, i'm taking my rucksack for clothes, food etc, then a holdall with wheels for cases. can't be f**ked with my back killing me by the time i get there again.

NEVER in the whole time rockness has been going have i seen a lassie pis*in in full view!!! or NEVER have i had to walk past lassies squatting to wee... u sure u didnt go looking?

Unfortunately it is a group of 4 girls and 1 guy that is going and can't use him as a handbag as he is one of the other girls boyfriends hehe!! Bought a big rugsack today which will carry all my rubbish to the campsite and got a lil across the body bag which will fit purse, phone, lipbalm,tissues etc in for during the day!!

And good idea about the lost me mates plan because no doubt it will happen, it happens in our local nightclub every week even though its tiny so in a huge space like rockness then yeah i will lose everyone
