Upgrade from non camping to camping

ive got a 3 day non camping ticket for rockness, not many of my mates were camping when i bought mine but now everyone is, so im wanting to camp as well!

is it easy enough to upgrade or will i have to buy a seperate ticket??

Upgrade when you get there from the ticket offices at the site.

my mate was asking the same thing today at work... according to teh rockness website you can upgrade when you arrive. But this is on the condition that the campsite isnt full. The campsite has never been sold out, but at what point do they say you can camp? Will you have to wait untill the saturday lunch time before they will upgrade you, or will they go on the basis of x number of tickets sold, leaves x number of camping tickets left?

i have tried emailing rockness direct but no reply, as it would be pretty shit for my mate to turn up with all his kit and no be able to camp...

I know it says that you can't camp with a single day ticket, but have they allowed these to be upgraded to camp before, if there is enough space on the day? Saturday only me and would like a drink or 10...

Think of it as Rockness will not sell out and there is plenty of space. Just turn up and you can upgrade your tickets. Stop worrying.

I don't think they allow you to upgrade a day ticket to a camping one, you would need a weekend ticket

What I mean is you can't just go with a Friday ticket and upgrade to camping for that night, you would need either 3 day tickets or a weekend non camping ticket.

Cause once you are in the campsite, there is no way to check who is just meant to be camping that night.

Might be wrong, but can't think of any other festival that lets you do that

I also need to upgrade to camping and emailed the official rockness website to ask if this was possible to do when I arrived at the site. They emailed me back saying:

You will be able to upgrade/buy your tickets on the day at any box office thats on site.

Also if you have just bought day tickets and wish to upgrade to camping tickets thats fine. Remember that we only do a minimum 2 day camping ticket

And if you want to upgrade to VIP you will be aloud to provided that we have VIP tickets left
