Midges & other biting bugs

Being a Glasto 'newbie' I was wondering what the campsites are like when it comes to midges & such things - do I need to pack insect repellent? For some reason midges seem to like my blood (I think its because it's so pure ) !

I've never seen any at Glastonbury, probably all the camp fires drive any away!

i've never even thought about it. i've never noticed any.

you might see the odd wasp but yeah if you bring insect spray i bet it wont even get itself out of the bag

I have never been bitten by incect things at glasto.

I don't think its something you need to worry about it (unless you have some kind of fatal allergy of course)

Depends if the midges like you, generally. They love my partner and one year she had to phone a friend who was arriving the next day and get them to bring some insect repellant and some antihistamines for her, cos she had quite a few bites on her head, as that was the only bit she'd left uncovered in the early evening when they tend to bite.
