Driving from Glasgow, which way is best?

Up the A9, according to Google takes 4 hrs

Or the country road past Loch Lomond, Fort William etc, according to Google takes 3hr 30 mins

personally id take the A9 even tho say 4 hrs u can do it in much less i kno someone who took the back route and it took longer than advised but if u want a nice scenic route then dont take the A9 and if u take the A9 watch the speed cameras(not that u would be speeding) but there is a few

Depends when your leaving if it's Friday morning i would say go up the A82,

Long waits just now on the A9 due to Road works.

Im going up that way and im leaving on the Thursday night!!

definitely A9 you run risk of being stuck behind more tourists caravans on the A82!!
