The way we usually do it is to put the vodka in water bottles, screw the cap back on and hold a lighter all around the seal, the heat presses it together and it looks like the seal hasn't been broken - just don't mix up the water and vodka bottles the next morning, it's not pleasant!

The security at IOW often taste the drink from those- squeeze it on their fingers and taste it. Any booze smuggling is a risk though- don't think any technique is guaranteed!!

I have been for the last 5 yrs and always got booze in.

1. A Camel back filled with Vodka or Vodka and orange is perfect and cant be seen under your polo shirt with a waterproof jacket over.

2. Boxes of wine. Open and remove the silver pack and place "Carefully" in the bottom of you rucksack. Cover with a towel , or cloths
