This years Glastonbury is my first ever festival and i have been struggling to find a decent tent online. Preferably we would like room for 3 people plus storage.

I recently found this tent online, can any of you give it a quick check to make sure it seems suitable for the job.

That looks pretty good! A hydrostatic head of 2000 is fine, even in a storm!

If you're 3 + kit you might want to consider a slightly bigger tent if you have a lot of stuff, although that tent looks like it's got a pretty decent porch space for stuff. We have a 4 man for 2 + kit and it's much more comfy, although I'm fat enough to be 2 people really LOL.

I'd really recommend heading to a camping shop and 'trying a tent for size' to see how much room you'll need!

It does look a bit erm... 'cosy' for 3 people, i'd go for something you can stand up in too.

A bit more expensive but how about this 5 man tent from Go Outdoors...

Hi Gear is a 'budget' tent range but the spec looks pretty good to me :)

but if you do go for your original choice, you can get it £11 cheaper (including delivery) from here...

this is similar to our "THREE" man tent. obscene isn't it. like a frickin music tent. But 1 bedroom each for the 3 of us and 1 bedroom for the toilet (bucket with a bag in it actually). The inside saves us bothering with a gazebo although we spend little time around the tent.

What I'm really saying is get the biggest tent you can afford and look after it. Worth it rather than struggling and slumming it and upgrading next time. Still it depends on who you are and whether you can sleep on a clothes line. Personally I need my own bedroom, being so bloody big

As above, it really depends on how cosy you want to be. I use a 4 person tent, and have had 3 of us in there for the last few years. This makes it cosy, admittedly, but that probably helps with the warmth! And I'm not sure I could cope with carrying a mahoosive tent, the one I have is heavy enough!

Also, we don't spend much time in or around our tent, so we're not too fussed that we can't stand up in it or have separate rooms etc. All depends on what you want though.
