Camping Help

Hi guys,

I have managed to get hold of some camping tickets for IOW at the last minute and I am super excited as I have never been before!!! Unfortunately due to work I can't get there until Sat morning. Can someone tell me what the likelihood of me being able to find a camping spot is and how far away it is likely to be from the main arena? I have a little 2-man tent and there is 2 of us going.

you will be fine, probs a 15 min walk to the main arena from where you will end up camping so not too bad !

How did you get on with finding a camping spot?

I have never seen a campsite so cramped before! there were tents all over the place and barely enough room to move between them.

I overheard some of the security/APS guys chatting about lots of people turning up late Friday and not having anywhere to put their tents. They had another 'White' camping area but were told not to open it and instead make people take down their gazebos.

Good job there wasn't any wind as there wasn't anywhere to put your guy ropes in most places (not that my new tent came with any.....)

Just glad I didn't have to setu near the toilets..
