Hi, me and a bunch of four other mates are travelling to Glasto from Bristol on the Wednesday morning, and are thinking of getting a taxi. Any idea how much it will cost? x

we had a 7 seater taxi pick us up from the airport last year and it cost us £70 (this included stopping off at a lidl on the way to the site to stock up on alcohol) we arranged to meet him in the village at 1 on the monday as well and he took us back to the airport. I booked it all online with GNS (?) taxis i think.

I'm not certain but surely you'd be better off on the Shuttle? If it's an official bus then you'll get dropped off on site.

I don't think a Taxi will be allowed onto the site thus you may have quite a walk to your campsite.

Oh, and five people with five people's gear, tents, booze etc will be a bit snug in a Cab. You'll need at least a Black Cab and possibly a Minibus which could hike the price quite a bit.

It’s a shame the shuttle buses can’t get closer. I live in Bristol and we always drive down. If the bus actually took you directly to a site entrance point I’d be using it.

In-fact if they did a VIP shuttle that drove you through vehicle gate 5 and up to the pyramid area I’d pay a extra bob or two for that too. You would probably have to change vehicle from the bus to a tractor train but it would be worth it.

Anything that saves you an hour’s + walk with your booze and camping stuff would be good in my book!
