Prodigy sound levels

So whos idea was it to put The Prodigy on the second stage? I wonder if they still have their job, that was a disaster! Far too many people crowded into that area, and it meant that for those of us a bit further up the hill we could barely hear anything. Left in the second song because despite them looking good, we could hear bugger all!

I was lucky I got there early and what a show the Prodigy done they were without doubt the best band over the weekend even hard core rockers that were camping next to me were amazed just how good they were hope they will get them for next year and put them on the main stage I do also wonder if the person who put them on the second stage just realize just how good they were but also people did tell me that Marilyn Manson was really bad and there were people leaving before he had even finished so that might have something to do with the amount of people that also went to the Prodigy as well .

I was stood near the disabled bay area and the sound was of very poor quality which was a real shame. But it turned out ok because i went and got an awesome spot for Slipknot instead  In my opinion they were never the best band of the weekend by a long stretch.

I too was by the disabled bit and the sound was gash but I had seen them a few weeks previous and thought eff this and went to watch slipknot who were effing amazing! I'm a bit dissapointed I sold my ticket to see them last Dec, but their new album did suck.

I gotta say tho, prodigy in the tent at whatever year it was (06?) was the best festi performance I have ever seen!

one of my faves for the weekend. stood on the righthand side about 20 metres behind the second barrier. i threw my groove. Totally oblivious to the two girls next to me had taken off their tops and just dancing in bras.

As a few other people have said the sound was far better on the left hand side of the stage.

I was stood on the right hand side on my own and thought it sounded awful. I was gonna go and watch Slipknot but ended up getting a drink from the back of the second stage bar first. As I got there I noticed a bit of a gap at the left handside so carried on and squeezed my way through people to find there was tonnes of room at the left hand side of the stage and amazing sound.

I ended up missing all of Slipknot and stayed at The Prodigy on my own until the end when I headed straight back to the Campsite so I could miss the hustle and bustle that happened the night before. What took an hour the previous night only took 15 minutes this time.

All in all it was a pretty good night!

i was stood to the left of the sound desk and thought it was awesome, but generally the second stage sound was awful, particularly for papa roach on the sunday.

clutch however were bloody awesome and sound was great, as was cornell.

I was stood to the right, behind the sounddesk, across the path nearer the food stalls - and to me there seemed to be nothing wrong with the sound. In fact, only problems I had all weekend for sound were with Slipknot and ZZ Top - and that's only because I was stood by the EA Hub due to the huge crowds for both bands!

Can't help but think this issue will rumble on, though.
