White 2 smelt of Poo

There appeared to be about a cup full of the chemicals in each loo! I was impressed that they were getting emptied though last time I went it just got to the point where poos were stacking up on the seats..

Just a shame the urinals weren't cared for as often, the ones closest to the main stage were swimming in urine by Sunday night, with urine overflowing from all of the filler holes etc. Pretty disgusting..

Was good to have plenty of urinals though :-) didn't want to stare into the portaloos more than I had to! (never seen non-flushing no-flap portaloos before..)

Whilst we're on the subject of utilities... the queues for the showers were always going to be crazy (especially with them closing at 1pm)

So having more than 7 or 8 sinks shared between 3 of 4 camping fields would have been nice. Stood next to the kebab van burning my ears off for far too long whilst an almost static queue of girls washed their hair. 50% of the queue was just trying to fill their water bottles.

I appreciate running water supplies around is probably a very expensive and difficult task but surely someone hires out water tanks for this sort of task?

I can assure you they did not all have flushes

I think we were in Red 3 (so yes not much of a walk but it was perhaps not even 1/3 full when we arrived on Friday) but the nearest wash facilities were at the start of Red 1. Quite a patch to cover for only a few sinks.

There were a LOT more toilet facilities than I had previously seen at festivals though :-)

Where did you see camping that was not cramped? Every area I saw was overloaded even as far as the White sections which kept expanding into the trade areas to allow more campers in.

Sorry but the toilets in the campsite did not flush, and they never have. In the arena they do.

we we're in purple 1 which is a bit of a trek but it wasn't crammed at all and further down in the purple site it seemed even less busy.

It did smell of piss but people by us were pissing by tents come on guys at least walk to a bush
