Wow. As if an ABBA tribute band could cause so much distress. People who hate ABBA, I would be happy for you to join Shoptildrop, Mr. Shoptildrop and myself and my biatches in the beer garden for a nice FRIENDLY chillout instead of listening to said swedish evilness.

PS: If you want to be music snobs, you're going to the wrong festival. V is all about the pop and chart cheese. Why do people still maintain the illusion it is an indie thing!?

Just thought I would share with everyone the fact that I first saw Bjorn Again at Reading in '92 (I think...), it was the day Nirvana played their last British date before he shot himself. I believe that the bill was hand picked by Kurt Cobain and the band themselves and included Mudhoney and the Beastie Boys.

Apart from the weather, it was a great day and Bjorn Again went down well with a normally hostile Reading crowd.

Nobody has suggested that once on this forum for anybody who dares expresses annoyance at the gilt-edged shafting we've been handed this year...you didn't use the one about it being a great weekend anyway because I'll be with my mates etc etc but nevermind...

I'm not being negative for the sake of it...look at my post about Exit Calm being added...

But I must admit...given the amount of people defending the line-up I don't think this forum is me anymore...so ta-ta. I hope you all have a great festival (despite the music)

The above post pretty much summed it up ....See, for me it was. There was always enough decent bands that a spattering of cheesy pop went pretty much unnoticed.

Based on your logic the fact that Ill Divo sold more of their last record than Stereophonics, Take That are the biggest touring band in the UK justifies their appearances next year? After all, they're 'popular'...then again the f**king morons posting on here now will probably lap it up.

Enjoy 'The Saturdays' spastics.
