GuffGuy
[ did they take the piss out of your bizzare obsession with Knight Rider?? Are you even married??? i doubt it. It is you good sir, who is the child for not noticeing my obvious attempt at being sarcastic. D Actually, you can't still be at school because anyone as moronically illiterate as you would be in detention forever, I bet you only go to V because it's the only festival you can spell. Flaminglippy
Well I like Abba / Bjorn Again and I'm not even gay. A great act to start the day with and get everyone up dancing and in a party mood. An excellent addition to the line-up. theramm
I think you're getting the words 'gay' and 'deaf' confused... I think you're getting the words 'great' and 'terrible' confused... I think you're getting the words 'act' and 'steaming heap of donkey toss' confused... I think you're getting the words 'everyone' and 'total knobheads' confused... I think you're getting the words 'dancing' and 'leaving' confused... I think you're getting the words 'party' and 'rioting' confused... bekimo
Wow. As if an ABBA tribute band could cause so much distress. People who hate ABBA, I would be happy for you to join Shoptildrop, Mr. Shoptildrop and myself and my biatches in the beer garden for a nice FRIENDLY chillout instead of listening to said swedish evilness. B x PS: If you want to be music snobs, you're going to the wrong festival. V is all about the pop and chart cheese. Why do people still maintain the illusion it is an indie thing!? Chrispylondon
Just thought I would share with everyone the fact that I first saw Bjorn Again at Reading in '92 (I think...), it was the day Nirvana played their last British date before he shot himself. I believe that the bill was hand picked by Kurt Cobain and the band themselves and included Mudhoney and the Beastie Boys. Apart from the weather, it was a great day and Bjorn Again went down well with a normally hostile Reading crowd.

PaulDavis
I think they'll be fab Everybody loves abit of 'Dancing Queen' and 'Mama Mia' Plus it supposed to be a very sunny summer apart from Glastonbury weekend, with temperatures topping 30 degrees on average These will create a nice cheerful atmosphere

Flaminglippy
I agree with what has been said on the ps bit. V just adds a bit of indie so it doesnt become too cheesy
Cheetara
Bored of the moaning now. *yawn* sell your ticket and don't come. Please, for your own sanity, it's obviously causing you so much grief and stress.

Cheetara
OOohhh...'sell your ticket'! Great idea! Nobody has suggested that once on this forum for anybody who dares expresses annoyance at the gilt-edged shafting we've been handed this year...you didn't use the one about it being a great weekend anyway because I'll be with my mates etc etc but nevermind... I'm not being negative for the sake of it...look at my post about Exit Calm being added... But I must admit...given the amount of people defending the line-up I don't think this forum is me anymore...so ta-ta. I hope you all have a great festival (despite the music)

theramm
You win. I will no longer post on the V forum & If I end up going this year it will definately be my last V. The above post pretty much summed it up V has never been about 'tr00' music.
The Cat Burglar
Oh dear. A couple of people who moan about V a lot won't post any more. That's just ruined my life.
TheNewUnion
To detract from the arguments, just back from Glasto and Bjorn Again were brilliant. Can't wait to see them at V!
Cheetara
You win. I will no longer post on the V forum & If I end up going this year it will definately be my last V. The above post pretty much summed it up ....See, for me it was. There was always enough decent bands that a spattering of cheesy pop went pretty much unnoticed. Based on your logic the fact that Ill Divo sold more of their last record than Stereophonics, Take That are the biggest touring band in the UK justifies their appearances next year? After all, they're 'popular'...then again the f**king morons posting on here now will probably lap it up. Enjoy 'The Saturdays' spastics. thetime
Il Divo and Take That are by far more superior to The Saturdays and Ndubz. And I'm not a 'fúcking moron'. Dick head?- yes, the 'C' word?- almost definitely, but moron? Absofúckinglutely not. *really hopes that Akon announces, that should be a laugh* *wonders why about 5 bands out of however many that are playing have really got peoples backs up* *wonders how many people have given themselves an aneurysm from the stress and moaning* *is wondering if red cars go faster than blue cars, and if aerodynamic paint has been invented yet* *is seriously wondering about that now*
