V website says:

CAN I BRING A CAMPING STOVE TO V? Yes but only the small gas camping stoves, strictly no petrol fueled cookers. We strongly advise you to just bring the small portable BBQ's though.

However I have read people saying they will be put out if lit up and I dont want my sausage soaked!

there was a 4man tent for about £25 in Argos not long ago. I really should buy one.

RANDOMS ARE ACE!!!

P.S I don't actually work for Nestle looking for comission, I am just addicted to randoms!

A small camping stove is a god send. Bacon butties are over priced and greasy as hell from the stalls.

Took 2 bottles of frozen water last year and froze the bacon/sausages too.Stuck them in a cool bag and they were still good to go on sunday morning, comes in handy for chillin your cans too.

A hydration pack/ cammel pack is a good investment too. I managed to sneak vodka in to the arena all weekend last year in mine, just hid it in the lining of my bag and walked straight through with it.

I've never tried, but would it be possible to use a disposable BBQ to boil a kettle and cook bacon well?

Obviously got a crap BBQ then! The "other half" of our camp had crap bbq's. Ours cooked all of our bbq stuff and most of there's too. And they stole our ketchup. They were in actual fact a nightmare all weekend and we shall not be taking them again this year. (the neighbours, not the bbq's!)
