Do I need to take ID?

I'm 21 and have my ticket for Glastonbury but want to know if I have to take ID?

Sometimes I get ID'ed when buying drinks etc but the only form of ID I have is my passport.

Now, I'd rather not take my passport and have the worry of carrying it around all the time with me but also don't want to get to the entrance and not be allowed in.

I just want to know whether or not there is a chance of not getting in to the festival without ID.

Thanks,

Joe

Thanks for that but yes, a bit late. I knew about the other types of ID cards but they all come at a cost and I can't really afford anything after the price of Glastonbury!

So, just to recap - I'll be fine getting in but buying alcohol may be a problem?

the only ID i have is my passport..i take it every year and i've never been ID'ed for buying booze. I don't think i'll take it this year due to risk of losing it and i'm flying back to australia at the end of the year and would be too much hassle to lose it.

if you get turned down it'll be easy to get a mate to get booze for you. i plan on taking most of my own anyway.

You might need ID to get in- I got ID'ed two years ago because I had a dramatic haircut after my registration pic was taken and they didn't believe it was me..... But yeah, if you've only got a passport then bring it, better safe than sorry! I'd say bring drink with you, and the lockups are free

If you want any more info PM me!
