Decent Coffee Question! ......

Hi All

First post here....... so Hello to fellow v cited peeps......

Any recommendations on where to obtain that decent, ie-strong,1st cup of coffee as I roll out the tent in the morning....cannot function without my caffiene and marlboro breakfast as soon as my eyes are open!!

Previous Glasto coffee experiences a bit poor but I'm sure I've been at the wrong places!! ....... I'm camping up Dairy Field end so any suggestions on the location of that elusive coffee hit v welcome!!

I'm totally with you on this one as the Nescafe served by most stalls is pretty rank.

this is going to be a bit vague, but last year there was an Italian coffee stall somewhere between the pyramid and other stages - i think it was opposite the BBQ hog place??

basically i ended up there every afternoon! next door was a doughnut stall which when combined with the coffee made for a perfect afternoon snack

I'm camping in Pennards this year so unless there is something nearer i'll be making morning coffee trek too

Hmm, meths powered kettle,, a reasonable instant and Baylies mini's for the milk

Or you could go for one of thise italian jobbies that boil the water up throgh the coffee (normnally used for filters) into the upper and use a good filter coffee brand.

I take a gas mini stove, coffee ground just the day before leaving & a cafetiere mug!

(Not sure what all these people are going on about when they say Glastonbury is becoming over run by the middle class! )

There was a lovely coffee stall near the pasty place close to the acoustic field last year. Lovely lovely coffee and lovely lovely pasties nearby... f**kin sweet!

Don't forget The Tiny Tea Tent (which serves freshly made ground coffee)

i was in the 99p shop today and they had nescafe mini pringle pot sized granuales, that serves 20 cups.

they also had a bag of nescafe sachets with sugar. BLOOOODY BRILLIANT! shame i dont like coffee that much.... altho i could make a latte...

I can't give any specifics from memory, but you won't have to wander around much to find a decent fresh coffee. If there's consumer demand, the markets at Glasto feed it.
