I've heard some terrible reports about this, was anyone there?

My mate said it was the worst organised event they've ever been to.

The main complaints were that it was over-run with neds, and the acoustics were shocking (Orbital was spoilt by very poor sound), and big name acts playing to empty tents due to poor ticket sales.

Been reading the EH1 forums, some pissed off people on there

• 7,000 tickets sold out of 20,000

• £15 for 4 tokens - 1 token = 275ml bottle of lager/cider/alchopop/soft drink

• Ran out of lanyards by 7pm

• 2 tents combined into one for 'H&S' reasons (apparently)

• 2 of the food stalls in the campsite left by the Saturday

• DJ's playing to a couple hundres people in 2,500 capacity tents

• No entry from campsite after 11pm which caught a lot of people out

The acts were good but the tents were empty. However I will state that it was NED central!

Seen one person get stabbed in the hand and 2 people passed out in the tents.

I still managed to have a good time but it was not what I expected!
