joanne-psi
I sound like a total plum for asking and this is my first Glasto, but I have hair extensions and will really need to wash and condition my hair over the weekend - are there usually mobile hair salons who'll do a wash and blow-dry or even let your DIY it? Anyone recall how much they charge roughly?
J_J_
I don't know about the salons, but I have heard rumours. There are showers, so you could wash and condition your hair there - though I doubt you could blow dry it there too
ChopperChimp
Joanne you're going to have to forego a few of lifes luxuries if you are to emerse yourself in your Glastonbury experience. Unless you're not in a tent with the masses? A few years ago I'd managed to get backstage access and walked past one of the mobile homes parked up there. I saw a lady sat under a gazebo reading a paper whilst a hair dresser attended to her. So if you're vip and bring your own hairdresser then yes. If you're in a tent, then sticking your head under a cold water stand pipe it is then! Which feels nice if it's hot! Weather's looking good, can't wait! joanne-psi
Normally I would be able to get away with not washing my hair for 3 days but with hair extensions it's a different story. Have heard there are a few salons on site now so should be sorted :-) No i'm not a VIP...friends are in a band playing there and they got me an artist/staff pass. No idea what that entitles me to backstage!

ChopperChimp
Her Glastonbury experience, or your Glastonbury experience?? Everyone approaches things differently - and as someone who has long, thick, curly hair, I was more than happy to queue for the showers last year
