Funkyfairy!
Good morning Planning the final route at the moment . We are coming from Weymouth (ferry), and were planning to park in East car park, and do the long walk to Hitchin Hill Ground to camp (with friends) We're now thinking of parking in West but have a ferry to catch on Monday afternoon We are planning to leave between 8-9 Monday morning What are the differences between leaving E and W car parks at that time - also getting in around 4.30pm on Wednesday Thanks a lot
Sam Crawley
Whilst I can't give you specific times, the important consideration is how the weather has been and what time you leave. If it's been raining a lot towards the end, say overnight on Sunday, you must leave extra time to get out. Also the later Monday morning you go, the longer it will take. If you have a ferry to catch, I'd suggest you leave earlier than is necessary to get away from the site (maybe 7am?), then do something else on the way back to Weymouth, or even just park up elsewhere and get the rest of the sleep you needed
Funkyfairy!
We need to be at the ferry terminal at 3pm
Walden
http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/info...ing-here/by-car check out the graph on the above link, it says you can be waiting up to 8 hours, I reckon the sooner you leave the better.
