My main qualm is that i have to bring a big suitcase because we're heading on to Barca afterwards...but will it be really annoying having to lug it around? Am I better bringing a rucksack and shoving a few things into it from the suitcase when i get there, and leaving the suitcase with the rest of my stuff in it in storage? Wish i could travel light...alas......

Second problem is a little setback of only being 17. As you have to givve proof of age with the ticket (or so it says) I looked at the whole entry thing in Spanish and it basically said foreginers have to have signed official documents and all..but who will actually care?

PS: doubt there's any change of you catching the ulster champs unfortunately!

I hadn't thought there was any chance of seeing the Ulster final at all, but the 'Irish' bar gave me a glimmer of hope.

On the plus side, in 2005 I was in Rhodes and missed the match between Tyone and Down before Tyrone went on to win the All-Ireland. Hopefully same happens again, but replace Down with Antrim

Hey this is a great idea for a first timer to beni like me - we were wondering if its worth bringing a camping stove? read what was said above about it bein unlikely to get in as the organisers will worry about fires, if this is so shall we leave it at home? just thought it could save money on food if we could take some pasta and make our own things - how expensive is food and drinks at the camps? VERY excited!! xxx

This is the first time me and my friends have gone so we're noobs and it would be a great help if you lot could answer a couple of questions for me :P

Firstly all my friends are 18 but I am 17 is there anything I have to do to be allowed into the festival or is it alright?

Secondly we fly to Barcelona reus on the sunday night and we haven't booked a train/coach as we are idiots will we be able to get one when we're out there?

Not long to go now :P

So i thought a wee thread for people to suggest stuff that is needed or useful to take or buy when you get there to survive camping in that heat!!

So i'll start with....

  • Suggesting not too bring too many clothes, you won't need more than 1 pair of jeans, shorts and swim shorts. travelling light will help you when you've got a tent to cart through the town

  • Shower at the waterpark or on the beach to beat the queues at the campsites

  • If you're there early enough to buy a cool box - DO IT!

  • Sleep outside on a li-lo or if you can get 2 trees, a hammock. It's too hot to sleep in the tent, use the tent for storage

So what are you bringing that you think you just can't do without?

Can anyone tell me if there are any lockers in the actual festival area itself....tried browsing around but could only see lockers in the campsite's mentioned.

We were thinkin as we're stayin in oropesa that we could head down to the waterpark a couple of days & rather than headin back we could just get a locker in the festival site instead and keep our stuff there.
