Summer Sundae for kids/families

Hi, newbie here

We usually go to the Big Session and have booked for Summer Sundae this year too (our first time).

How much bigger is it and how child friendly is it? My kids are 8 and 10 and love the kids activities at the Big Session, so I assume Summer Sundae will have similar activities?

What time do we need to arrive to get a pitch in the quiet/family area?

Any other tips?

there will also be a warm up party for families with small children this year. we're not sure about entertainment levels, but the buses will be combined with a pub thats very friendly with suitable beer garden......

It is one campsite but its not just a free for all - it will be divided into general and family/quiet.
