A few of us are making the long treck from Aberdeen for this years madness.

We were going to set off on the friday morning. The site doesn't open till noon on the saturday, does anyone know if there are going to be any 'unofficial' gatherings on the friday night. i.e in fields nearby. Can't afford a hotel so hoping this could be a realistic option. Never been before so not sure if there is normally anything going on the night before.

OR: if anyone else is heading down on the Friday give me a shout and maybe we could organise something ourselves.

We too are heading down on the Friday and were just going to sleep in the car if we couldn't find anywhere to camp

there's afew fields about 10 minutes down the road that we camped in afew times last summer, nice little area.

quiet place so there's no much chance of people wandering about and grassing you up.
