People, people, people.

This is great news. I was at Leeds a couple of years back when they did this, and it was great.

As it says, you can exchange ANY can of beer. We stocked up on shed loads of netto beer.

They don't actually swap it straight for a can of beer, they give you a token in exchange. you then take your token(s) to the stall at the side and get your can/ crate of beer.

This means that you can trade in all your crap beer in on the first day (to get the job out of the way) and just get loads of tokens to trade in whenever you like.

The only down side is that carrying all the crap booze will leave you chiefed!

COLD BEER AMNESTY

COLD BEER SESSIONS

At Carling we believe that British Barley makes better tasting beer, which is why we only source locally and make a point of knowing where all our barley comes from. That way we can check the quality of all the barley that goes into making our beer. Of course all this care and attention would be wasted if you couldn't enjoy a cold Carling with your mates.

That's why we developed the Cold Beer Amnesty!! Festival goers can relax and enjoy a perfectly chilled beer with their mates by swapping ANY unopened can of warm beer for an ice cold can of Carling.

In 2009, after 3 successful years touring UK festivals, we will be bringing the Carling Cold Beer Amnesty to RockNess and the V Festivals at Chelmsford and Weston Park, this summer - bigger, better and colder than ever, complemented by all the usual guest DJ's...

So if you're at Rock Ness or V Festival this summer make sure you come and visit us in the campsite during the weekend!

You must be over 18 years of age to take part. Please drink responsibly.
