What is there to do?

Maybe someone has already asked this question but I only bought my tickets this weeks so I'm just wondering what people tend to do after the band have finished? What stuff is on in the arena after dark?

Also, I've seen people mention an application you can download onto your phone with the timetable etc on - where do i get this from? Could I download it onto my blackberry? Sorry if people have already asked these questions but I couldn't find any answers :)

Oh and also, what time to people arrive on the Friday, I was aiming for around 10am but will the campsite be open (based on the amazing advice on here I plan to stay in Blue)

And finally, food wise - is it better to bring your own BBQ or just eat from the vans? is it all burgers and chips or am I just assuming to worst?!

I think that's all my questions for now.

Thanks!

At night there's a few things to do. On the friday night there is the indie disco which is awesome. There's also films being shown (the choice of films yet to be confirmed but it's usually a good mix). Or you can just chill, drink and socialise at the campsites.

Not sure about the phone thing, last year i got it a couple of days beforehand i think, so it'll be posed on here closer to the time.

Arriving at that time on Friday seems ok, there will be queues but then again there's always queues.

Food wise there's everything and anything. Last year i even found a stall selling sticky toffee pudding! But some people bring BBQ's/camping stoves for when they don't fancy trecking to the arena/fancy trying something diffenet/saving money. Last year we did our own sausage sandwiches on the friday then ate food from the stalls for the rest of the weekend but did take a few nibbles with us - crisps, biscuits, etc.

Regarding the phone idea for timetable, i cant see it working myself. Most people will last charge their phones friday morn. the batteries last about 2 days (2.5 if low use). if you keep lighting the screen to see the next band who is on, you battery will be flat sat night. Im working on doing a clashfinder/stage timetable pdf. Will post on here as soon as I have all the info re stage times.

Regarding what there is to do, I just suggest take booze, an mp3 player and speakers, and see what happens. Oh and maybe some cards for strip poker :D

If that dont tickle ya fancy, theres movies on on the friday and i believe some bands too. Plus the arena is open for fairground rides and booze. Booze being a recurring theme here.
