They tend to tour on strict cycles (every 2/3 years, usually on the back of an album) and don't seem to deviate from that. Apparently they've been close at least once, I remember them being strongly linked in 2009, but for some reason (probably money), both parties have never been able to make it happen.
2027 could be a contender (if they are touring), but I've been saying there's a chance for years. Maybe that ship has sailed.
As a fan, I think they'd be fantastic (waving my arms from side-to-side to the outro of Never Let Me Down Again at the Pyramid is a Glastonbury dream I visualise often). For the casuals, alongside Gahan's stage presence, they've probably got enough reasonably well-known songs in the set to maintain 100 minutes of interest. Hugely underrated in this country in my opinion but as I say, I'm a fan. With all due respect to Neil Young, if he can headline (for a second time), Depeche Mode absolutely can. And it would be Pyramid headliner or nothing.
I'd love it to happen but I'm not so confident that it will.
Nah man, you don鈥檛 own your plot. You can鈥檛 tape an area off. If someone else needs the spot they鈥檙e well within their rights to take it. You鈥檙e the one in the wrong here. If you all want to camp together side by side then either arrive together at the same time or take your friends tents and pitch them too.
Have you not read about wood burners? Google it. People are seriously starting to take issue with wood smoke. Apparently it causes harmful particles etc.
