and personally, i think that Lightning Seeds would be better off on main stage

It will probably make the main stage look better

I just looked at the stage section and Lightning Seeds are after The King Blues which is a relief meaning that i can now see OCS and the Lightning Seeds

ohhh so looks like we are back to 12 slots in the union as per 2007 interesting.......

ooooh and 1st class Howling bells v Red light company think Howling bells will win mind as really like their album

To be fair to V, they are pretty decent line-ups for what's basically the 4th stage. British Sea Power providing a cerebral alternative to Oasis stands out for a start.

Sadly V seem to have decided that the Arena should have a poppier feel on both afternoons though Human League followed by The Streets looks quite appealing.

There will be an updated line up by me, within the next 30 minutes but I don't know what you guys are looking at but first to address the clashes worried about above

1- Red Light Company and Howling Bells do not clash

2- Sunshine Underground and The Specials do not clash

3- End of OCS WILL clash with the start of Lightning Seeds though, but its only a 10 minute overlap, and then moving stages as well

Life Of Riley and 3 Lions which is likely to be played at the end of the set

There seems to be some random placing of some bands...Starsailor on before Taylor Swift and The Script??? Jet on before Red Light Company and the Noisettes??

Mind you...good that theyve got bands like Starsailor, OCS, Lightning Seeds on early...should get more people in and hopefully have a better atmosphere....

I think this is one of the reasons, I read it on the Reading forums, get biggish name bands on early so people get in the arena earlier and spend money in there on food and in the bar instead of drinking at the campsite

Aaahh, so now it becomes clear why Starsailor are on so early - couldn't figure why such a good band were one of the first bands on - but yes, it will certainly get me out the campsite and into the arena, can't wait to see them.
