Newbie to V...... Need some advice

Hello

There are four of us coming to the V this year at Weston park. Me, my hubby, my friend and her hubby. My friend and my husband cannot get the day off work on the Friday so the plan is for me and my friends hubby to travel down (we live 2 hours away from Weston park) pitch the tents and come back home so all of us can travel down early saturday morning.

Will we be OK to do this? Can we park up in one of the carparks whilst we find a spot to pitch our tent and then leave again on the friday?

I understand most V festival go-ers travel on the friday so i'm guessing traffic will be bad. We will prob aim to get there for 9am ish on the Friday, pitch up and then leave hopefully before 12 ish.

Also we've looked at a thread which tells us all about the camp sites (pro's and Cons), we think we will either go for the blue or orange campsites, does anyone know which car park we need to go in to get to these?
