Here's a question

Not too bad to be honest. The heat obviously depends on how hot the ambient temperature is. The spray isn't too bad at all, and even the pressure is enough to decently get clean. The only downside is that when they're full they weigh about 15-20Kg, so you need something strong and stable to hold them up (Holding it above your head won't work as you'll not be strong enough and you can't get it high enough for the hose and spray to work).

WE used one out in the desert off the back of our truck, but not sure how well they would work in a field in Essex off the back of your tent!

Like Richie have used them in the desert but having tried it over here its crap tbh - for obvious reasons. There are some ok showers at V if you don't fancy the Mexican shower option (babywipes).

Also where exactly were you planning on showering?

An alternative to having to hold it at arms length or hunting for a tree is one we figured out - when you ain't got a warrior door to hang it off and you've been banned from the lannies for getting them soapy get a tall mate to stand up and hang it off his bergen and have a crouching shower behind him (if your under 6ft and they're taller)... now that is being a mate.

Cheapo version is to take a camping stove, warm some water and stick it in a Camelbak - then pull the bite valve off - it does the job. You can also try leaving the Camelbak in the daylight / near the heat of a stove (not so it melts) for a lukewarm effect.

Top tip for a practical joke if you do ever use one and have a cooler box handy - I think you can guess the rest - although the two people in question failed to see the funny side for a bit.

All in all just use the showers that are available if you really must but get up early and don't bother on Sunday.
