Leighboi
Ok I've been to V at Weston before but never at Hylands Park, considering I live in Manchester so obviously I went to the closest one. About a week ago I won two camping tickets to Hylands in a competition. Just wondering what the camping situation is like there because I keep coming across a lot of forums and sites where people are asking to swap red tickets for yellow and vise-versa. Do you get a set camp site determined by your ticket?? And if so which campsite is better? If this is the case I dont have a clue where I'm gonna be camping as I won the tickets and didn't book them myself!

The Cat Burglar
I agree it will be great wherever you go, although people tend to say yellow is the best, mainly because I'm there. I'm not bragging, it's just what I've heard. Anyway I strongly suspect you'll be in Red as that is the one run by the V organisers (yellow is run by a third party). Red tends to be closer but there is normally a bit more space in yellow.

The Cat Burglar
My cousins mate owns the Yellow field (hence why that's why I've always been in it!), he used to rent it out on it's own, but then the V organisers wanted it in with tickets. Bit more space???? You sure about that! christ if that's the case then there will be no space in Red at all!!!
Leighboi
thanks for your replies! I won them as part of an official VFest competition on Twitter so I'm guessing I'll be in red then? Will see when the tickets turn up! Can't wait now! Just need a new sleeping bag then I'm all set!

Reedo321
Speaking from personal experience I'm guessing the majority of the swapping is down to people wanting to be with friends. Thats what happened with us anyway. Only stayed in Red so cant compare but people were saying with the new layout Yellow is now closer but Red is still only a 5 or so min walk
