Nooooo - Dilemma!

Right, this may be long, I need some advice please!! I have been to V the last three years in a row and have always gone by car. However, this time, I am going by coach from Birmingham. Now, this is where it gets complicated :) My ex boyfriend booked the tickets on his card, we split up, he doesn't want to come (and didn't in the first place apparently!!) so I have paid him for the tickets. I found someone else to go with me who has now also backed out, so I have a spare coach and festival ticket at the moment. This isn't too much of a problem, I am sure I can fnd somene to come!

But!! How do I stand with the name on the coach tickets? I know that you have to produce ID of the person who purchased the tickets, but obviously he isn't going to be there. I can easily get him to lend me his ID and write me a cover note to explain the situation, but will that be OK? I don't want to get to V and not be allowed my ticket because they think I am a tout or something.

Help please anyone?

I hope this makes sense. Beer and cookies to those who got to the end!!

I reckon you should be OK as once you get on allowed on the coach you are fine. There are tons of people who's folks pay for cards and last year my friend caught a coach down on my card (with cover note and my credit card / driving licence).

Don't know if she was asked for ID but I'll check over the weekend if I think on.

If its with National Express they never checked mine last year. And they didn't dish the tickets out untill we got to V too. There was a little stand where all the tickets were kept. we were sent to it after we got off the bus, gave our names and they gave us the tickets.
