Daddydon
Officially No. you could try but chances are Security will make you take it down or take it down for you when your not there!
Daddydon
I have taken a gazebo before and recall seeing hundreds of them, only problem is if it does rain heavy then they catch the rain on the roof and it falls on you in a huge down pour. kpsuk
Same here, we went last year and didn't take one then everyone had them, including someone in our group. Def taking one this year, because the weather is not looking like it's going to be great at this point is it?! (
t0mW
They're definately not allowed, and haven't been for any of the last 6 yrs I've been going. However we've taken one every year and got through, eventually. You'll need to somehow disguise it (probably as a tent) going through the checkpoint. What we always do when we set it up is leave the bottom halves of the poles off. This makes the gazebo just high enough to sit under for shelter, but low enough to disguise it as a tent amongst tents, and so far, touch wood, security have never bothered with us
kpsuk
Only camped last year, but we and others near us brazenly had full height gazebos and were right on the edge by a security tower, and never had any problems? Looking forward to seeing huddled midgets under half size gazebos though, you will have the last laugh if they take ours in the p'ing down rain though! )

Reedo321
Strictly no but stayed in Red last yr, pitched up right near the main path through the center of the camp site and we had a full size Gazebo with no problems from security. Will be taking one again this yr
