Efest Camp - Staffs only

Here I am all packed (like i need a mule) n looking forward n daugher turns up saying she doesnt want drink much and doesnt like orange camp!!! Im pissed off now only chance to let me hair down!! Last year she n partner were in bed by 9.30 and was hoping for bit of fun this year. So might not be joining all you party goers in orange now. But still hope to have sum fun this wkend.

Ok, so does anyone know what time I would arrive if I am on the 11 o'clock coach from Birmingham?

Oh and its a 2 person tent bekimo, a small one at that.

Sorry all that I made the briefest appearance at the campsite, but thanks to the V muppets moving me from East car park down to South Car Park 2 I had bugger all time (group of us, 2 cars in East car park, 3 in West and another 2 moved to South from East - they said they were saving the room for daytrippers and later on after letting us park!) - that'll teach me to turn up right near the front of the queue!

Oh and the South entrance staff wanted to search everybody so the queue to get in was massive and ended up letting mates camp in blue and joining them meaning a long trek for all our kit and beer. Personal nightmare of a Friday morning.

That aside hope the chocolates went down well and everyone had a great time! Looked about in the Indie Disco but we were a bit merry then so could just about recognise the people I came with!

We got stuck in the M6 car park en route.... (only took us 4 hours for a 40 minute journey) ha!

Ended up with our group having saved us a space on the other side of Orange, but as they had all already pitched, couldn't ask them to move....

Tried to find you all, but to no avail... maybe I should've tried before I started on the beer...lol

There's always next year eh.

Aye, Thanks to Laura for the organising of the camp!!

apologies to all those I text friday morning in a slight daze of tiredness and stood in a field empty of all tents.

And a big thanks to everyone being so friendly, might have gathered im not the biggest conversationalist but I was made to feel really welcome

Well it was nice to see the lot of u, and I didnt get to say hi to everyone. mostly cus i had stress head on after stupid carpark fiasco on Friday.

If I wanted to park in South carpark, I would have gone to that entrance!!! I went to East entrance and had to queue an extra hour for the priveledge and still ended up in South!!

We then carted half the stuff to Orange - thanks to Laura and Lesley and co for saving room for the teepee of love.

We then went back to the car to get the rest of the stuff only to be told I could not get to my car without a wristband. wish they would have told me that before I dragged my ass up that fricking hill.

So we walked all the way back down to the wristband thingy. Got wristbands and food. Walked all the way back to South carpark. The queue to get in was ridiculous and we got a little misdirected and ended up walking around South 2 for an hour searching for my car before realising it was probably in south 1. Eventually found the car in south 1. Loaded up and went back to orange to relax.

After a 5 hour car journey (normally 45 minutes) I was very much behind on drinking and I needed to chillax. Thankfully the rest of the weekend was a lot more relaxed!!!

And all this after my disasterous attempt at Teepee erection (hold the jokes people!)

We had a great weekend (apart from Friday night when my mate Stu decided to turn into a drunken idiot - He recons he bought some legal highs and it was them that did it - me thinks if it was them he's better off with the hard core illegal ones !!)

He got a good talking too on the Saturday morning and seemed to be ok for the rest of the weekend .

Hope he didn't offend anybody too much - Big apology from me to anybody that he did pi$$ off

But other than that - What a class weekend !!!

Weather was perfect ! Bands sounded great ! And Oasis played just for us !!!

Good to catch up with everybody from last year and to meet some new faces

Hope everybody had a safe journey home

i'm making quite a habit of not gettin to the efests meet now... actually look for you guys but kinda got to orange and forgot what i was lookin for and just looked abit weird

i blame bekimo anywho because she didnt put pictures of the disco ninja up

hope you all had as good of a weekend as i did (apart from swappin my favourite hoody for a plastic hula bra, cos the guy was cold... proper gentleman i am eh lol)

maybe i'll actually make it next year...
