Keeping warm

I got a 3 season bag from Go Outdoors quite cheap. Last year I had a crap one and I nearly froze, which meant total lack of sleep.

Not sure where you live, but if you have a Go Outdoors or similr check it out. Otherwise try online...

This one looks OK, temperature range should cover the colder nights. Take thermals if you have them, that always helps too.

Make sure you have a nice warm fleece or hoodie. Sitting around the tent after dark can be a little chilly otherwise!!

As for essentials to take? Tent, tickets, sleepy bag, clothes, wellies and waterproof jacket. And baby wipes and loo roll.

Hey guys!

I am a newbie....its my first ever festival this year :)...do know what to expect! But one thing is i do not like to be cold!!

Can someone recommend a warm sleeping bag that does not cost that much?

Oh and a list of essential things i need to bring?

after many a cold night at festivals there are 3 warmth essentials - 1) a nice warm beeping slag, 2) those gas lanterns - they let off some heat but DON'T be falling asleep with them on, they warm the tent up nicely, 3) you can buy hand and feet warmers for fisherman and such, you shake them to activate them, perfect for stuffing in the sleeping bag. I have found that a man generally just gets in the way ;)

wet tent = cold tent, wet sleeping bag = cold sleeping bag, wet clothes = cold clothes, WET ME = COLD ME.

it's all the WETS fault B)
